Cookie Policy
Last updated
This document informs Users about the technologies that help this Application to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Owner to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on a User’s device as they interact with this Application.
For simplicity, all such technologies are defined as “Trackers” within this document, unless there is a reason to differentiate. For example, while Cookies can be used on both web and mobile browsers, it would be inaccurate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile apps as they are a browser-based Tracker. For this reason, within this document, the term Cookies is only used where it is specifically meant to indicate that particular type of Tracker.
Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may also require the User’s consent. Whenever consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this document.
How this Application uses Trackers
This Application uses Trackers managed by the Owner and Trackers set by third-party providers. Trackers are organized into three categories. Necessary Trackers are always on. Analytics and Marketing Trackers are off until you opt in, and nothing optional loads before you choose.
Necessary
This Application uses so-called “technical” Cookies and other similar Trackers to carry out activities that are strictly necessary for the operation or delivery of the Service. These remember your cookie choice (a first-party cookie called miq_consent, kept for 180 days) and let Cloudflare Turnstile protect our forms from automated abuse.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure which pages are useful (Google retains this data for 14 months), and Microsoft Clarity to produce session recordings and heatmaps, with form fields masked and sensitive pages excluded. We also set first-party identifiers: a random visitor identifier that lets pages you viewed be linked to a form you later send, a record of the campaign and page that first brought you to the Website, and a random session identifier. Google and Microsoft act as service providers for these tools.
Marketing
With your consent, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag so that LinkedIn can measure whether its ads lead to demo requests and build audiences. It also keeps advertising click identifiers. We never send your name or email to LinkedIn. LinkedIn acts as an independent controller for its own use of the data it receives.
Cookie list
The table of Trackers on this page, including each name, purpose, category, duration and provider, is generated from the same configuration that powers the cookie banner, so the two cannot differ.
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a choice to decline Analytics and Marketing. You can also block or delete Cookies in your browser settings, though the Website’s forms may then work less well. Your choices are kept for 180 days, after which we ask again.
